The 24/7 Youth Film Festival is a short film competition for young people aged 12-24. Participants have 24 hours to make a 7 minute short film that includes special items, dialogue and locations that are only revealed at the beginning of the 24 hours. Information sessions and workshops are held in preparation for the event throughout August and September. All films are shown on the ‘Big Screen’ throughout September with the Finals Night at the end of September. Each year, young people from Mosman, Manly, Pittwater and Warringah Councils form teams to enter the competition and go in the running to win up to $11000 worth of prizes.
