Excited about sustainability? Ever wanted to learn what goes into making great, organic food?

Then we definitely have the group for you! View Finders is a volunteering group that focuses on environmental sustainability in Mosman. This term we’ll be focusing on organic garden produce and what goes into it and how to maintain it! You’ll learn all the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in this endeavor from top gardener and organic produce enthusiast Adrian Baiada from My Square Metre.

View Finders have worked on some exciting projects in the past, from raising awareness about takeaway  coffee cups, shark hunting and solar road tiles to running campaigning and sustainability workshops with the one and only Tim Silverwood from Take 3. Last term we transformed the space outside the Youth Centre creating a beautiful and edible garden – check out the photos here and this term we are excited about taking it to another level!

But to do this we need you to get on board! We want your passion, your enthusiasm, your creative ideas and the new energy that you’ll bring to the team.

Weekly meetings from 6 May-24 June 4.30-5.30pm*

There will also be a few additional hours required for creating the actual garden beds. Every member will be expected to volunteer approximately 12 hours over this term. These volunteer hours will go towards your Duke of Ed., CAS requirements or just your general awesomeness rating!

So sign up now to be part of the View Finders team!
