After the successful “Battle of the Bands” event to end 2014, Vocal Rewind is back…

This term we’ll be taking music events in Mosman to the next level with an event to celebrate National Youth Week.

As a team you’ll have to learn to work together to cover the various aspects of the event – marketing, budget, risk management, production and of course booking bands. It’s a great way to develop practical life skills while putting on an awesome event! PLUS there are the exciting decisions to be made on what the gig’s genre will be and what lucky acts will be headliners. Members of the team will also get to look after MYfest activities for the lead-up to the gig so if you’re interested in just the event side of things still go ahead and register your interest.

As part of the Vocal Rewind team you’ll also get a guaranteed spot in a skill development workshop with top Sydney freelance publicist Natalie Dodds! The training in this workshop will give you all the practical skills necessary to make this gig the most successful one yet. It will be hosted at the Mosman Youth Centre on the 12 February from 6:00-.7.30pm so lock this date in.

 Other Important Info…

Vocal Rewind will be meeting every Tuesday afternoon from 4.30-5.30pm from the 10 February – 31 March. Every member will be expected to volunteer approximately 12 hours over this term. These volunteer hours will go towards your Duke of Ed., CAS requirements or just your general awesomeness rating!

National Youth Week is the most exciting time for young people in Australia with people all over the nation celebrating you! This year, NYW will be held from the 10th -19th of April, with massive events planned across the country.  What better way to celebrate the achievements of local young people in Mosman than a live music event.
