ShoreShocked Battle of the Bands Mosman saw 7 young bands from across Northern Sydney battle it out for a spot at the ShoreShocked 2018 line up alongside Mallrat, Jack River, I Know Leopard, Arno Faraji, Kid Zr0 and The Dissolutes.
The competition was fierce as Hot Heads, Garner, Lambros, Dysfunction, Spilt Milk, Alleyways & Carbon Glare took to the stage to battle it out for a chance to join the festival line up.
Local Mosman High band Garner unanimously took out the peoples choice prize on the night!
Meanwhile the judges had a difficult task in selecting a winner. After a long deliberation process it was decided that Hot Heads had inched ahead of their competition with their hard hitting alt rock tunes. You will be able to catch these guys at ShoreShocked on the 21st of April from 11am.
Special mention to Girls Rock Sydney‘s camp director Mara and headspace youth reference group member Ben for judging on the evening.
