Almost 30 teams from across the Northern Beaches and Mosman participated in this years 24/7 Youth Film Festival – creating a short 7 minute film over 24 hours.
Competition Weekend
Over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of September, 28 teams filmed their short movies in designated filming locations such as Cabbage Tree Bay/Shelly Bay, Chinamen’s Beach/Rosherville Reserve, Avalon Village, & Dee Why Lagoon. There was a mix of new and returning actors, directors, and film-makers to the contest this year and films explored a variety of genres, from comedy to horror, incorporated several unusual secret items including lego, a cat bell and ice cream!
To watch this year’s films, 2 screenings and a finals and awards evening will be open to the public over the next few weeks.
