Last month Mosman Youth held their annual youth Volunteer Recognition Ceremony for past and present youth volunteers.
The ceremony is an annual event held by Mosman Youth Services to celebrate the youth volunteers who have participated and given their time to the various youth volunteer programs offered by council. There was food, mingling and the Mayor Peter Abelson gave a speech to open the ceremony. The Mayor drew attention to some of the achievements of the different volunteer programs over the last year including various youth music events hosted by Vocal Rewind, environmental and sustainability campaigns by the View Finders and youth campaigns run by Mospress.
Some of the youth Volunteers talked about what it is like to be a volunteer at the youth centre and each volunteer was given a certificate for their contribution. It was great to hear about the impact we have in our suburb as well as the experiences of volunteers who have been on different programs throughout the last few years. Check out some snaps from the event below!
