Girls Only ‘Nourish You’ nights are back!
To wrap up the end of the year and prep you for the Christmas break, we will be holding two evenings centred around nourishment and empowerment, to help you celebrate who you are – with experts to give you advice on how to look after your body, help and guide you in relaxation and focus on how to best advocate for your wellbeing in both body and mind.
DEC 1st For the 12-15 year olds we will be holding a natural food cooking class and workshop, exploring the importance of healthy eating and living without putting limitations on your body.
We are stoked to announce that Maz Valcorza from Sadhana Kitchen will be teaching us how to make chocolate mousse and chia pudding while talking us through how to have a healthy relationship with your body. She’ll also talk about the pressure we can face through social media, especially instagram and how we can be empowered to cope with the pressure and actually thrive. Super stoked! We’ll also be eating what we make, delicious!
DEC 3rd For the 16-20 year olds we are having a night of yoga and mindful relaxation to focus on awareness of both body and mind, de-stress techniques and self-awareness.
We are super excited to confirm that Michelle Bradbury from Mosman Village Yoga will be joining us for the evening of Dec 3rd to lead a yoga class focused on relaxation, de-stressing and being kind to your body, tailored for 16-20 year olds. After the session we are delighted to provide some yummy healthy snacks!
If you don’t have your own yoga mat, no worries – Mosman Village Yoga is happy to provide one, just let us know when registering whether you will be bringing your own or would like to borrow one on the night.
Cost & Rego:
Both nights will cost $10 for MOSCARD members and $15 for non-members. Only 25 spaces available each night so get in quick!
*If you are interested in one of the nights and are worried about age limitations (i.e. you are 15 years of age but all your friends are 16 years), these can be negotiable, please phone Rachel on 9978 4144 to discuss.
