Mosman Youth Services is very excited to announce the line-up of activities for the upcoming school holiday program, promising each participant a memorable winter.
We begin our cold adventure with an outdoor ice skating session at the Palm Grove in Darling Harbour before heading back to the youth centre to make our own gingerbread man. Our next stop takes us to Ryde Aquatic Centre to get warm with a surfing lesson at the heated surf simulator, Surf Ryder. To keep with a fun and healthy theme this winter, we’ll then take a yoga class in North Sydney and have Tepanyaki for lunch. As the week begins to wind down, we’ll stop by George Street Cinemas to watch the animated feature, Big Friendly Giants and then celebrate the end of the first week with a trip to Luna Park.
“The cold never bothered me anyway.” — Elsa, Frozen
After a much needed rest over the weekend, the adventure continues to St Marys Cathedral in the city for an unlimited access on the fun rides at the Winter Festival. On the following day, we’ll challenge the thrill seekers with a visit to the iFly Indoor Skydiving for an experience that will leave you floating on air. We’ll celebrate the upcoming Olympics in Rio with our own version of the Olympics at the youth centre before having pizza for lunch. We’ll finish the week off; with a visit to IMAX to watch Finding Dory then have lunch at Pancakes on the Rocks. As our adventure comes to an end, we’ll attend the Random Musical at Darling Quarter and have some tasteful baguettes for lunch.
Activities are sure to fill up fast so book in early to secure a spot!
