Be part of the most exciting lineup of school holiday activities this winter.

Winter is here! What better way to spend the cold holidays than riding Segway,watching a 3D movie in IMAX, jumping inside a giant bubble to play soccer and doing laser skirmish. We’ll also be having lunch at the Pancakes on the Rocks, have Yum Cha for brunch and Pizza in the afternoon. And that’s only the first week!

How can it get any better on the second week? We’ll start off with a visit to the 9D Cinemas, learn the moves of the streets with a hip hop dance class, win the sports competition, do ice skating while enjoying Grill’d burgers at Darling Harbour and enjoy Tepanyaki. Ohh and did we mention going on a scenic horse riding tour!?

Week 1

Monday 29 June – IMAX & Pancakes on the Rocks

Join the school holiday crew as we venture into the city to be encapsulated by the biggest screen in the world – IMAX! We’ll be watching the new Disney Pixar animation Inside Out in 3D before heading over to Pancakes on the Rocks for some delicious pancakes. If you’re looking for a great day out in the city then this activity is for you! Lunch Provided.

Tuesday 30 June – Segway Tour at Armoury Park

Segwaying is the newest way to get around in our tech savvy world so we’ve decided to get some practice on our very own Segways. We’ll be taught how to manoeuvre them in a training session by some professional Segwayers, and then cruise around Sydney Olympic Park! Come along to be the first to experience this awesome form of transportation! Please wear enclosed shoes.

Wednesday 1 July – Yum Cha & Soccer at Tumbalong Park

Want to experience the hustle and bustle of a genuine Chinese Yum Cha restaurant? Well then this activity is for you! We’ll head into the city to Sydney’s famous Yum Cha Marigold. Once we’ve satiated our appetites with some oriental delights, we’ll stroll over to Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour for a game of soccer. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Lunch provided.

Thursday 2 July – Bubble Soccer & Pizza

Bubble soccer is the newest craze to hit the sports fields of Sydney! It involves getting in a giant inflated suit (which protects you from falling over), and attempting to play soccer, while bouncing around and crashing into one another! Sounds fun huh? Once we’re all bubbled out we’ll enjoy some pizza back at the centre. Please wear comfortable clothes & runners. Lunch Provided.

Friday 3 July – Laser Skirmish & Karaoke

Today we will be heading over to Chatswood Strike to play some Laser Skirmish and try out their Karaoke. We’ll start off with a couple of games of Laser Skirmish to get our hearts pumping, then hit up the Karaoke room and sing along some of our favourite hits! There’s something for everyone today so join in the fun!

 

Week 2

Monday 6 July – 9D Cinema & Grill’d Healthy Burgers

If 3D cinema is not exciting enough for you and you’re after an even more thrilling experience then come along for the 9D experience. Feel the seat below you move like a roller coaster, the dramatic real life effects take your breath away, and watch the screen as it jumps out at you. We’ll then have time to chat about the experience after over a delicious burger at Grill’d. Lunch Provided.

Tuesday 7 July – Horse Riding

Want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life for a scenic horse ride in the great outdoors? The school holiday crew will be taking the council bus to Gledswood Hills to ride some beautiful horses through their scenic trail ride. This one’s sure to be a hit so make sure you book in early! Please wear enclosed shoes.

Wednesday 8 July – Dance Class & Tepanyaki

Want to learn some new moves to show off at your next disco or party? Then come along today as we’re taught hip hop and contemporary dance from the best in a professional dance studio.  After our session we’ll head to Neutral Bay for some culinary entertainment at Tepanyaki as the chef shows off some of their skills right before our eyes! Lunch provided.

Thursday 9 July – Sports Competition & Pizza

Today we’re going back to basics at the youth centre with a sports competition and pizza – what more could you ask for! We’ll let our competitive sides out as we compete for the title of Mosman Champion, and then enjoy some delicious pizza once we’re tired out. Let the games begin! Lunch Provided.

Friday 10 July – Ice Skating & Chocolate Mousse

Winter has struck the city and we’re going to get into the spirit of the season by hitting the Macquarie Ice Rink. We’ll enjoy zooming around the huge rink then head back to the centre for a cooking session to make some tasty chocolate mousse. If you’re a seasoned skater, or even a first time learner, we’d love to have you along! Please wear warm clothing.

*This program operates from 8am-6pm at a cost of $75.00 per day. Parents are required to sign their child in and out of this program or alternatively to provide permission for their child to sign themselves in and out. Enrollments for this program are essential and places are limited so apply promptly.
