Nominations are now open for Mosman’s Young Citizen of the Year Award.
Mosman Council is seeking nominations for the Mosman Young Citizen of the Year.
The award recognises young people with achievements and contributions made through voluntary community service at a local level.
These awards are open to any person who has contributed in a significant way to the Mosman community. Eligibility criteria include:
- Residents of Mosman who have made a particular effort during the preceding year for the benefit of Mosman, or have been involved in activities which have brought credit to the Mosman area.
- Non-residents who have been involved in voluntary community service or other activities directly benefiting the Mosman community, environment, or bringing credit to Mosman.
Past award recipients have contributed to the community in a variety of ways, through involvement in education, health, sport, community groups, safety, local history, local events and festivals, the arts, youth services, church groups and the environment.
Award Categories
- Citizen of the Year (Age: 19 years and over)
- Young Citizen of the Year (Age: 12 to 18 years of age as at 26 January)
