Youth Researchers

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be involved in a large-scale youth consultation? Then this opportunity is for you.

Mosman Council Youth Services are running their Youth Consultation again (we do this every three years). The results of this research project shape the future direction of youth policies, programs and services in Mosman. There are a few different ways you can get your voice heard: survey (you can fill it out here), online forum (coming soon), focus groups and interviews.

This is where you could come in. We are scouting out Youth Researchers to conduct focus groups and interviews with our staff held in July/Early August 2017. Chosen applicants will experience what it’s actually like to be involved in a wide scale youth research project and will receive ethics & interview techniques training.

Not only will this look great on your CV but the hours accumulated can be logged on as service hours for Duke of Edinburgh or CAS. If you’re aged 15 – 25 and are interested in this please fill out the expression of interest form below, and we’ll get back to you soon.

If you are interested in being part of a consultative body for Council more permanently please check out our Mosman Youth Forum page and contact staff on youth@mosman.nsw.gov.au if this is something you want more information on.
