The Youth Centre will open in the first week of the October School Holidays for Drop In.
School Holiday Drop In at the Youth Centre will run from 2 – 5 Oct (first week of school holidays) so that young people can enjoy the Youth Centre and all it has to offer during the break. Along with the usual resources and activities available at Drop In, we will be running workshops during the Drop In period each day the center is open in the holidays. More info on these workshops is below! Holiday Drop In is open to students in years 6 – 12.
School Holiday Drop In is supervised in the same way as Drop In during the school term. This means staff are available and on site however young people are free to come and go as they please.
DATES: 2-5 OCT
OPENING HOURS: 11:30AM – 5PM, Workshops from 2pm.
MON 1 – Closed for public holidays
TUES 2 – Mug Making
Feeling inspired by Spring? Create a lasting POP of colour by personalising your very own mugs! Find your way to the Youth Centre at 2pm to get involved in this activity.
WED 3 – Sushi Making
Rather than going to the shops and spending money to buy sushi rolls, come down to the youth centre at 2pm to learn how to make you own original sushi roll.
THUR 4 – JAM Session
We’re hosting a jam session at the youth centre. If you’ve got your own instrument bring it – if not we will do our best to provide you one. Everybody of all skills are welcomed to join – beginner, experienced or just want to try it out.
FRI 5 – Chocolate Making
Let’s go loco for some coco! Nothing beats homemade desserts, and we’ll teach you how to make customise your very own chocolate bites for an inexpensive treat!
