School Holidays

Get involved in activities with Mosman Youth over the school holidays. Activities are for high school aged young people (& year 6) to hang out with friends in a safe and inclusive drop-in environment. We run a variety of activities and workshops such as art and creative workshops, games, wellbeing sessions and more.

Week One: 11 - 14 April

Monday 11th April - Dungeons & Dragons Design Day

11am - 5pm. Mosman Youth Centre. Free to join
We're teaming up with the Library to provide an immersive day of Dungeons & Dragons. Starting at the Youth Centre, design and dress up as your very own fantasy adventurers. After foraying into the realms of worldbuilding, mapmaking and dungeon mastery, head to the library for 3D printing to bring our ideas to life! Back at the youth centre you'll have a short adventure with your characters and wrap up with a healthy, hearty D & D Inn feast.

Tues 12th April - Drop In + Will Kostakis Author Talk 

11am - 5pm Drop In Opened. Talk from 3pm-4pm @ Mosman Youth Centre. Free to join
A book deal at seventeen, a flop at nineteen, and everything that's happened since...
Award-winning Will Kostakis shares his author journey, reflecting on successes, failures and the the books that have inspired him.

Will Kostakis is a writer of all things, from celebrity news stories that score cease and desist letters, to tweets for professional wrestlers. That said, he’s best known for his award-winning YA novels including The First Third and The Sidekicks. An advocate for young readers and writers, Will was awarded the 2020 Maurice Saxby Award by the School Library Association of New South Wales for service to children’s and young adult literature.

Wed 13th April - Among Us In Real Life 

11am - 5:30pm Drop In opened. Activity at 5.30pm-7pm free to join
Among Us is a fun betrayal style came that’s swept the world, and has now come to the Library & Youth Centre. Meet us at the youth centre and join us in person for a fun evening of laughter, fun, negotiations and problem solving as you try to figure out just who is sus, and who just vented into electrical.

Thurs 14th April - Creation Space Cricut Designing

11am - 5pm Drop In opened. Activity at 2pm-3pm free to join

Explore what we can make with the cricut machine at the Creation Space! We will be making vinyl stickers and also iron stickers for you to iron your design to tote bags and any other material you want to try and make for

Week Two: 19 - 22 April

Tue 19th April - Drop In + Drum Circle with Chris

11am - 5pm. Mosman Youth Centre. Free to join
Hang out at the youth centre for drop in from 11am! Then join Chris at 2pm for some casual and fun African drumming session.

Wed 20th April - Drop In + Dungeons and Dragons

11am - 5pm. Mosman Youth Centre. Free to join
Doors for Drop In will be opened at 11am. Dungeons and Dragons session will kick off at 12pm finishing at 5pm. Beginners are welcome! If you enjoyed the session you will be able to also join our ongoing campaign during the school term.

Thurs 21st April - Drop In + Movie night+Pizza

3pm - 8pm. Mosman Youth Centre. Free to join
Drop In doors will be opening at 3pm. Movies will start approximately at 4.30pm. The movie will be chosen on group suggestion and vote. And later in the night we will be ordering free pizza!

Friday 22nd April - Drop In

11am - 5pm. Mosman Youth Centre. Free to join
The space is all yours! Hang out at Drop In with youth workers and other young people in the space!

Our school holiday programs (online and in-person) are facilitated and supervised by youth workers, with trained facilitators. All external facilitators require a cleared Working with Children Check and to adhere to Council’s Child Safety Policy.


Our programs are “Drop-In” in nature, meaning participants can come and go as they please. Young people will be supervised when participating in programs while at the Youth Centre, however a young person may decide to leave centre at any time.
