Youth Week is almost upon us! We’re amplifying voices, fostering empowerment, and embracing creativity under the 2024 theme ‘Express. Empower. Get Loud!’. Join us from 11 to 21 April for a dynamic lineup of events and activities tailored to celebrate and support the vibrant youth community of Mosman.

Friday 12 April 5-8pm | Mosman Youth Centre & Mosman Library. FREE EVENT
This year, we’re shaking things up with a Raise The Youth block party spanning the Youth Centre, ground floor of Mosman Library, and laneway! Join us for an electrifying night brought to you by our Youth Volunteers, supported by the community. Get ready for live music, tasty food and refreshments, art, photobooth fun, and competitions! There’s something for everyone. This is an inclusive, safe, accessible event for young people 12 to 19 years old. This program is supported by the NSW Government as part of Youth Week 2024. Saturday 13 April, times TBC | The Canopy, 2 Rosenthal Avenue, Lane Cove. FREE EVENT
Join us at The Canopy this April for music, games, and all-round fun. With performances from up to eight fantastic youth bands, and an exciting headliner act (to be revealed soon), this is an event not to be missed. There will be stalls. There will be games. Join Jahin Tanvir, TEDx Speaker and UNICEF Young Ambassador, from the Australian School of Entrepreneurship for an interactive workshop focused on amplifying your voice and building life skills. Learn from an expert in youth leadership and make a meaningful impact in our community by giving your feedback to our Youth Consultation project “MYvoice”! Pizza included. Join us for a special collage & mixed media art workshop with artist Karla Hayes, where we’ll learn about the design process, and you’ll get to create your own concept artwork! Your designs will be digitised and used on a brand new Youth Centre entry sign which will be installed later in the year. Let your imagination soar as we create something truly meaningful together. Unlock the secrets to the perfect brew with our Barista Training Course facilitated by the Darcy Street Project! Whether you’re an aspiring coffee connoisseur or looking to enhance your skills, our hands-on course is a good introduction to the world of coffee making. Join us and get stuck in to some café creations! Lunch will be provided. There are limited spots so register now and let’s brew up some excellence together. Friday 19 April 12-5pm | St Leonards Park, North Sydney. FREE EVENT
Experience the ultimate blend of color, music, and movies at ColourFlix! Join us for a thrilling Colour Run, live youth bands, a DJ, and an outdoor cinema viewing of Puss in Boots at St Leonards Park for free! As part of our holiday program, you’re invited to join us for an excursion from the Mosman Youth Centre to venture in together, or go your own way and we’ll see you there!
