21 March is Harmony Day

Our diversity makes Australia a great place to live. Harmony Day is a celebration of our cultural diversity – a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home.

Held every year on 21 March. The Day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

The message of Harmony Day is everyone belongs, the Day aims to engage people to participate in their community, respect cultural and religious diversity and foster sense of belonging for everyone.

What we are doing this Harmony Day

Cultural Picnic & Movie Night 

Mosman Youth will be hosting a cultural picnic and movie night to celebrate and embrace culturally diversity!

Location: Mosman Youth Centre
Date: 21st March
Time: 4.30pm – 7.30pm

Instagram Awareness Campaign

With Harmony Day and cultural diversity being so important in society it is time we start spreading the word!
his year Mospress in partnership with Mosman Youth encourage you to get some fresh orange threads on take a pic, upload it with the caption “Happy Harmony Day – Now it’s your turn to do the same @….  @mosmanharmony #mosmanharmony” and tag your mates to do the same!
Spread the word across Instagram that you support cultural diversity and get your friends and family involved and thinking about the cause!
